Sox 11 Blue Jays 1

Tonight the Sox had a offensive outburst, seen by all 10,610 fans in the Rogers Centre. Sox beat the Jays 11-1, John Danks pitched for the Sox and Brandon Morrow pitched for the Jays. Danks pitched an amazing game 7 innings and only 2 hits allowed along with one earned run. Brandon Morrow did not pitch his best, evident by the 11-1 score and also because he allowed 9 men to reach base in only four innings, and let up 7 earned runs. The offense really showed how dangerous they can be, when they are clicking on all cylinders. A healthy Carlos Quentin can only mean good things for the Sox especially when he's producing like he did tonight. Quentin drove in 6 runs on two hits, one of which was a grand slam. The Jays almost set their record low for attendance which was 10,074. I haven't seen a stadium empty like this one in quite a long time. I mean the Sox don't exactly overflow their stadium but get at least 75% full. The Jays tonight filled 21% of their stadium, and it can't be because of their record, they are 6-3 which is much better than most of the league. Glad the Sox could pull this one out, hopefully we can see some consistent offense, and not go from a 1 hit night to a 15 hit night. Go Sox! Tomorrow's probables, for the Sox: Freddy Garcia (0-1, 2.57) and for the Blue Jays: Dana Eveland (1-0, 0.00).
